2014 Another Great Year for Gardeninggrrl 34,000 Views

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 34,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 13 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

I looked for an address to contact you directly, i just read through all your posts, since I sm in Zone 3 also and would like to know if the goji berry bush survived and of it has to be in a protected area, which I do not have.

The other question is, did your flue planters survive the winter outside without breaking? I could use them in my garden too if they stand winter.

I had a great time reading your bogs and have sunscribed.

    • The gogi berry plant has survived two winters with no problems, and no special care or coverage. The flue planters have spent at least two winters, maybe three outside with no problems. Perhaps the secret there is to make sure they aren’t full of wet soil at the end of the fall, but I’ve never done anything special to protect them. Thanks for your feedback đŸ™‚

Hello! I found your blog a few months ago and have been eagerly awaiting your posts. I am new to Edmonton, and a beginner at gardening. I do hope you will have exciting posts soon. Thank you for your inspiration. Happy gardening!

    • Hi and thanks for your interest in my blog! To be honest, I just moved and that’s why I haven’t posted lately. Once I get a bit more settled I will be able to blog again…but now it’ll be from zone 8 (bc).
